Taylor Russell '19
“I decided that York College was for me when I first set foot on campus. I immediately felt welcomed and knew this was where I wanted to be. The campus is a great size and the classes are very personalized, which is exactly what I needed to pursue a career in Human Services. It is so rewarding to make others happy, and I chose my major because it involves helping others.
Being at a place like YCP has allowed me to get involved across campus in many ways, helping me to develop not just lasting friendships, but leadership skills and endless opportunities to try things. I am a member Phi Sigma Sigma, serve as a Fall and Summer Orientation Leader and hope to join the Honors Society for my major.
When I leave York College, I want to feel prepared to be able to help others to the best of my ability and hopefully work with women and children who have been through abusive situations or suffer from behavioral issues. Gifts made to the College allow me to have the best resources possible to achieve these goals, and they help me maintain my scholarship so I may succeed.
I just want to thank you for your generous gifts and pledges this year and let you know that every donation counts and does make a difference. All of us at York College are very grateful for your continued support!”
