Samantha Gebhart transitioned smoothly from student to graduate, in large part due to her move from intern to full-time research assistant at the Johns Hopkins Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit (BPRU).
After spending two years as an Undeclared major, Abby discovered a passion for advocacy. She chose political science as her major and has since joined Student Senate, interned at a state representative's office, and is working with York College's Disability Support Services to help with accessibility issues.
After less than two years as an officer with the Missouri City Police Department in Texas, Jessica Berry was named Officer of the Year for 2012 and also received a commendation from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for making 75 DWI arrests throughout the year.
Amanda, who now has a master’s degree in clinical psychology, works at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as a senior research program coordinator in the Division of General Internal Medicine. Her responsibilities include developing and carrying out research plans. She recently published several articles and is currently writing a paper.
Joel Bish, Ph.D., an associate professor of psychology at Ursinus College, recently received tenure at the four-year liberal arts college in Collegeville, Pa. He joined the faculty in 2005 in the Psychology Department and serves as the coordinator for the College’s neuroscience major.
