York College Glatfelter Institute for Public Policy to host Oct. 29 candidates’ night
York College’s Arthur J. Glatfelter Institute for Public Policy and the York Daily Record will cosponsor a Candidates’ Night at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 29, at the College’s Center for Community Engagement, 59 E. Market St., York. The event will be free and open to the public.
Candidates in all contested local races in the Nov. 6 election -- from governor to state House -- have been invited to attend. Candidates (or their surrogates) will have an allotted time to speak about issues and qualifications. This will not be a formal debate.
After the presentations, light refreshments will be served to allow candidates the opportunity to talk to voters and hand out campaign literature.
