Survivors: A Conversation About Consent

April 1–29, 2023
Marketview Arts, Lower Level Gallery

An exhibition to raise awareness of the impact of sexual assault on survivors.

Calling All Survivors—Now Accepting Submissions

During Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, Marketview Arts, in partnership with YWCA York and YCP's Title IX Office, will host an exhibit of artwork created by survivors of sexual assault. The theme is the impact the assault had on you or some facet of your life. It can be visual art or written/spoken word.

Please forward a high resolution cropped picture of visual art, and include the size, medium, title, and your name to nurseelektra03@gmail.com. Pseudonyms are accepted if you wish to protect your privacy. Artwork must be ready to be hung and will remain in the gallery space for the month of April.

Written works are also being accepted; please forward to the above email for consideration.

Thank you, and I look forward to your participation in this process to end the stigma of sexual assault, and raise awareness about its impact on survivors.
