Spring on the York College campus

Professional Development

For more than 16 years, we have been developing programs that address specific company needs and offering them either on campus or on location. These programs have been developed to address the specific needs of business/industry:

  • Blueprint Reading
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Metrology
  • Computer Programs
  • Drawing/Document Control Systems
  • Supervision
  • Long-Term Care Seminars
  • Presentation skills
  • Organizational Development

Act 48 requires all certified educators in Pennsylvania must complete 180 hours of professional development that complies with their school district’s plan every five years. The 180-hour requirement can be met with six college credits, six credits of continuing professional education courses, 180 clock hours of continuing professional education, or any combination of collegiate studies, continuing professional education courses or other programs, activities or learning experiences equivalent to 180 hours. Many of the programs we offer can help you meet this requirement.
