Hunter Hudak here with another blog post! I'm excited to be writing about the experience I had touring the Pentagon thanks to Andrea Corrales '05. Thank you to Andrea for the incredible opportunity to visit such an important place. Andrea graduated from York College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and was very involved on campus as a student as a member of a sorority, a Student Ambassador, and much more.

Our visit was quite an experience as I learned a lot more about the different military branches of the United States, visited the 9/11 memorial, and various fun facts—for example, if you were to walk all around the pentagon on every floor, you would have walked 17.6 miles. Some advice Andrea shared with Road Crew is to get involved with the College after you graduate because your involvement can really have a significant impact on current and future students. Meeting so many alumni on these trips and hearing about their stories and how their gifts have really make a difference makes me want to one day contribute to the York College Fund as well.
