Day Eight Site Visits

Meet Our Site Visit Hosts

Kimber Dulin '13
Digital Project Manager, Push10
Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations

What is your professional title and what are some of your big-picture job responsibilities?
As a Digital Project Manager, I work to ensure that digital web projects (websites, web apps, etc.) are successfully executed. I work with clients to ensure their goals are being met and that their expectations are set throughout the life of a project. I work with the internal production teams to ensure the deliverables are within company standards and meeting these client goals. I also work on strategies and proposals for both web and branding projects.

What does it mean to you to have York College students coming to your place of work for a special site visit?
I'm thrilled to have York College students coming to visit my place of work! I love being able to pass on knowledge and experience—especially remembering how it felt to have graduation looming and not being sure how it was all going to play out. I like being able to help instill confidence and show off a little of what I do in the process.

What advice do you have for current students or fellow alumni seeking a career in your chosen field?
Don't discredit the customer service experience. Much of my position is knowing how to approach frustrated clients, battle politics within large organizations, and come to decisions that ensure that all parties are on board and the project and my company are not at risk.

Educational Business Manager,
Sidney Kimmel Medical College—Thomas Jefferson University
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

What does it mean to you to have York College students coming to your place of work for a special site visit?
I work with students every day as part of my full-time job and one of the best parts of that role is being in a position to mentor and pass along life lessons to others. It can be challenging to think about the best individual career path without much experience so I’m just happy to share what has worked for me.

How has York College helped you get to where you are today?
It helped to solidify the importance of preparation and work ethic.

What do you enjoy most about your current professional role?
I have a role in helping to shape people who will one day go on to save lives and affect change
at national and international levels.

Zach Lehrbaum '12
Group Sales Sports Accountant Executive, Wells Fargo Center
Bachelor of Science in Sport Management

What does it mean to you to have York College students coming to your place of work for a special site visit?
It means a great deal. My goal after I graduated has been to help out the younger generation any way that I can. I think that I missed a lot of opportunities while in school and if I can provide YCP students with some insight into the sports industry, I'm glad to help.

How has York College helped you get to where you are today?
I think York College paved the way for me to break into the sports industry. Through the Sports Management program, we had to work for a sports organization before graduating. Getting experience with the Wilmington Blue Rocks through YCP's program helped me to see what types of departments I wanted to start in before landing a permanent job.

What do you enjoy most about your current professional role?
The atmosphere. The Flyers is my favorite professional sports team of all time and to get the opportunity to be at every game is amazing. That mixed with the ability to make the day of someone coming to the arena with a large group of people is a really awesome feeling.
