York College's $1.5 million, 14,000 square foot nursing building replicates hospital environments such as intensive care, medical surgical care, and pediatric care. Although off-campus clinical experience will continue to be an important component of the baccalaureate program in nursing, this state-of-the-art facility enables students to acquire skills in a simulated environment prior to actual patient care.
