Residence Halls

Residence HallsMany options are offered to meet the needs and interests of residence students. The College's residential facilities are designed to permit progressively greater independence for students as they progress through their years on campus. Housing types include traditional residence halls with long dormitory-style hallways, suite-style residence halls, small group/interest houses, and college apartments.

Brockie CommonsBROCKIE COMMONS
Brockie Commons is an apartment-style residence facility located on the West Campus adjacent to Spring Garden Apartments.  Four or five students are housed in each unit, some with single rooms, for a total of 144 students.

Richland HallRICHLAND HALL
An apartment-style residence hall housing 154 students in either a single or double room.  Located on the west campus adjacent to the Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center, this newest residence hall joins Spring Garden Apartments and Brockie Commons as part of new quadrangle on the west campus.

Residence Hall RoomRESIDENCE HALL ROOM
The typical York College residence hall room is equipped with two beds, two dressers, two closets, two desks, two chairs, one mirror, two towel racks, and two desk lights. Of course, students are encouraged to decorate their rooms to fit their own personalities. In each residence hall room, there is both telephone and cable hookup available to the students through local companies. All rooms have full access to the York College network. Both refrigerators/microwave combinations and rugs are available to rent, and for sale in the first week of September.
