Seth had the opportunity to work in his field during his time at York College, and thus was able to apply his academic learning to the real world. What started off as an extra credit assignment, turned into an internship and then a part-time position with a state representative.

Working and going to school full time taught Seth dedication, perseverance, multitasking and hard work.

“Without York College, I wouldn’t have honed these skills,” he said.

York College is also ideally located near the political powerhouses of Washington, D.C., Harrisburg, Pa., and Annapolis, Md.

“Combine that with a multitude of local governments, and it’s a perfect intersection for public policy driven students who want a career in government,” he said.

Additionally, the academic support Seth received from York College gave him the confidence and ability to strive for professional success.
