Orientation
Orientation introduces you to York College's exciting campus life and helps you make connections within our supportive Spartan community.
Orientation is designed to:
- Facilitate the transition to campus life
- Provide vital information about life on campus and academics
- Introduce you to faculty, staff and other students
Orientation is an investment in your college career.
Orientation Programs
For students beginning course work in the fall, York College hosts Orientation in two steps: New Student Day, followed by Fall Orientation.
Students who begin course work in the spring semester are invited to attend January Orientation.
Orientation Leader Program
The January Orientation, Fall Orientation, and New Student Days would not be possible with out the assistance of Orientation Leaders. Selected through a comprehensive interview and training process, Orientation Leaders are upperclass students who have demonstrated a love for York College, and a passion for leadership.
