Student Organization Requirements

York College is home to 80+ vibrant student clubs and organization. These organizations hold a vital role in developing leaders and well rounded students. As such, each organization is required to attend a select number of ExCEL Series events in order to ensure that their members are well informed and successful in their roles.

The follow outlines the requirements of each Student Senate recognized organization:

  • All required executive board positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, & Treasurer) must attend at least ONE ExCEL Series event per semester
  • You are not all required to attend the same session
  • Make sure you sign-in at the event to receive credit for your attendance

Did you know your organization is eligible for the Organizational Leadership Grant Program? The top three Student Senate recognized organizations that have the most members attend ExCEL events each semester will receive a monetary award that can be used towards leadership programming! Grant awards: 1st place - $500, 2nd place - $250, 3rd place - $100
