Fall Fest and Family Weekend

Fall Fest is held the first weekend of October to welcome parents, families, friends and alumni to campus for a celebration of the new year.

Each Fall Fest incudes a variety of activities including (but not limited to) home athletic events, alumni reunions, the festival of student organizations and evening family-friendly entertainment!

Whether you are the class of 2015 or 1968,
we hope to see you here for the event of the semester!

5K and Fun Run

8:30 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013
Grumbacher Track/Rail Trail
Join our second annual 5K and Fun Run as alumni, employees, students, families, and community members gather for this day of fun.

Entry fees

  • $25 - YCP alumni, employees, families, and community members
  • $10 - YCP students
  • FREE- SpartaKids Fun Run (12 and under)

Entry fee includes T-shirt, gift and a small breakfast after the race.

Fall Festival

On the Campus Lawn (Rain Location: Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center)
Come on over to the Fall Festival! Make your own bobble head, or spin art frisbee, or hang out on the Velcro wall, and check out many other fun activities. Featuring dozens of Student Organization fundraisers, live music, and much more, the Fall Festival is fun for everyone!

Scarletta is the next big thing in country music. Individually these three musicians are talented, but when they combine forces, the stage explodes with great music and an awesome live performance. Don’t let the country genre scare you off either, while their hearts may hail from Nashville, these guys can rock!

Gather with current students, alumni, families and friends! Enjoy an assortment of your favorite picnic foods while listening to country music by Scarletta! Admission for Alumni, Families and Friends is just $9 per person, and current students may utilize their meal plan by pre-purchasing a ticket from Johnson Dining Hall!

4rd Annual Stepshow

2 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013
Fall Festival
History and culture will ignite the York College campus as we host our annual Stepshow. Watch in awe the rhythmic and precise stepping of historically black Greek fraternities and sororities, as well as other Greek Letter organizations. You never know who may make a special appearance! Be prepared for greatness!

Currently starring in Magic Outlaws on the Travel Channel, Ben is master of illusion and upclose magic, all combined with a healthy dose of humor. If you think Chris Angel’s illusions are good, be prepared to be amazed (Ben designed Chris’ illusions!) Ben’s performances are jam packed with stand-up comedy, fascinating true stories, and world-renowned sleight-of-hand. His energy and playfulness are contagious as they spread through the audience and he never fails to give a sensational performance.
