The Residence Life and Campus Housing office is responsible for on-campus student housing, residential programming and student conduct. Our office strives to develop inclusive residential communities that promotes the academic achievement, personal growth, and responsible citizenship of our students. Residence Life and Campus Housing offer an extensive series of extra-curricular opportunities in concert with Student Affairs.

Housing Break Date Schedules 2015-2016

Winter Break

  • Residence halls close Friday, February 26, 2016, by 8 p.m.
  • Residence halls re-open Sunday, March 6, 2016, after 10 a.m.
  • Winter Break Request to Stay Form (available 2/8-2/19)

Spring Break

  • Residence halls close Wednesday, March 23, 2016, by 10 p.m.
  • Residence halls re-open Monday, March 28, 2016, after 10 a.m.
  • Spring Break Request to Stay Form (available 3/4-3/16)

Summer Break

  • Finals Week: May 7-12, 2016
  • Commencement: May 14, 2016
  • Summer Break Request to Stay Form (available 4/15-5/3)


     Only students directly involved in Commencement may stay
until 5:00 p.m. on the day of Commencement.      
     All other students must leave as soon as possible after their
     last final - the latest time to leave being 2:00 pm     
December 21, 2015. If you have a late final or another 
     academic reason requiring you to stay, please complete
     the Summer Break Request to Stay Form.


  • The Summer Housing Application‌ is now available at the Business Office and the Office of Residence Life. All completed forms should be taken to the Business Office with payment.

  • Commuter Applications are now being accepted through March 15, 2016, 5:00 p.m.
