Thank you for your interest in transferring to York College! We understand the importance of navigating through the process and we strive to make York as transfer friendly as possible.
Step 1: To begin, please complete the transfer admission application and submit the required materials to the Admissions Office.
Step 2: Once you have been accepted by the Admissions Office, your transcripts are sent to Katie Schwienteck, the Associate Registrar for Transfer Articulation, to be evaluated in the Registrar's Office. An official credit evaluation report will automatically be mailed to you in the following weeks.
Step 3: How transfer students register?
The Registrar’s Office will mail registration information to you in advance of your first semester. Transfer students can either schedule an appointment to create a class schedule or complete a form to have your schedule created and mailed directly to you.
York College offers a unique visit opportunity designed for transfer students. Join us on select Tuesdays to get an overview of the college and admissions procedures, transfer credits, and financial aid. This session also provides a chance to meet one-on-one with our transfer team comprised of knowledgeable staff from our admissions, registrar and financial aid offices.
