Assistant Coordinator of Campus Recreation

 

Part-time (9 months, evening and weekend hours required) staff position, available to start immediately in the Department of Athletics and Recreation. Responsibilities include assisting the Coordinator of Campus Recreation and the Associate Director of Athletics and Recreation in the organization and management of the College intramural sports program. High school diploma or equivalent required (sport management or recreation-related college degree preferred), as well as a minimum of one year of related professional experience and a background in sports officiating. In addition to excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, the appropriate candidate will possess the ability to work independently and effectively in a collegiate setting with students, faculty, administrators, and staff.

Full-time position (37.5 hrs. /wk.) available immediately.  Responsibilities include support of the Assistant Director; benefit enrollment processing and eligibility; database maintenance; effective handling of benefit inquiries in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner; billings/payments; and audits.  Requires at least 2 years’ experience in HR or benefits administration and a minimum of a HS degree or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.  Successful candidates will be detail-oriented; possess strong customer service, organization, written and oral communication skills; maintain strict confidentiality; and be computer literate in Microsoft Office.

Communication and Reporting Specialist

 

The Admission Operations team at York College of Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Communication and Reporting Specialist. The specialist is responsible for assisting with all communication marketing efforts of the admissions office, including basic creative work, layout, and job submission; as well as assisting with admissions reporting requirements from both the CRM and SIS systems in support of these outreach efforts.  Primary tasks include coordinating communication efforts as assigned and analyzing data to ensure accuracy.  A high school diploma is required, however, a four-year degree is preferred.  One to two years admissions experience is strongly recommended.  The candidate must possess knowledge of computer operations systems, data analysis, and communication/marketing processes.  Must possess proven oral and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, customer relationship management applications; and strong organizational skills.

Event Manager

 

Part-time staff position (9 months, evening and weekend hours required) available to start immediately in the Department of Athletics and Recreation. Responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of event management with oversight of setup, breakdown, and operation of all intercollegiate contests and special events with primary focus in training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating Sport Management practicum students and staff. Requires experience in facility/event management and staffing supervision, the ability to work independently in collegiate setting with students, faculty, staff, and guests, and excellent customer service and communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree in a Sport Management or related field preferred, high school diploma required, CPR-AED and First Aid certifications preferred.

Office Support Clerk

 

Part-time staff position (approximately 20 hours per week) available to start immediately in the Department of Athletics and Recreation. Responsibilities include verifying and processing departmental invoices, check requests, deposits, and payroll; reconciling P-Cards; maintaining record of all financial transactions and compiling budget data as needed; assisting in execution of required financial reports; filing and general administrative tasks. High school diploma or equivalent required (associate’s degree preferred), as well as a minimum of two years related experience within an office environment. Appropriate candidate will possess computer skills including effective use of accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing programs; excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; the ability to work independently and effectively in a collegiate setting with students, faculty, administrators, and staff.

Part-time staff (12 month, 20-25 hours per week) Administrative Assistant position in the Office of Intercultural Student Life and Global Programming available immediately.  The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday.  Responsibilities include multiple aspects of administrative support for the office such as appointment scheduling, program coordination and advertisement as well as other duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma; two to four years administrative assistant experience; strong computer skills in MS Office and other PC software applications; strong organizational skills; and ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, college personnel and the public.
