(2) Part-time Administrative Assistants

 

The Division of Academic Services is seeking applications for highly skilled and team-orientated individuals to serve as administrative assistants for the Academic Advising and Disability Support Services Centers.  These individuals will work in a true job share as part-time administrative assistants, providing administrative support and reception duties for these two departments, which provide programs and services to a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff. The administrative assistant team will assist in budget preparations, support program coordination and scheduling, organizing and maintaining office operations, spreadsheets, and inputting student and office records into the College database,  and Banner. 

 

Qualifications are a high school diploma, associate’s degree preferred; two to four years of professional experience, ideally working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; the ability to communicate effectively through email, phone, and in-person with a variety of people; proficient in Microsoft Office products; and Banner or equivalent database experience preferred.  Candidates must have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills while balancing a variety of projects and tasks and multiple deadlines.  Candidates must also be passionate about working in a student-centered, service-oriented, highly engaging professional environment that is committed to student success.

Lifeguards - Summer Vacation Period

 

The Department of Athletics and Recreation is seeking lifeguards for the Grumbacher Sport & Fitness Center swimming pool, beginning immediately. This part-time position is responsible for administration of the natatorium, promoting a safe and healthy atmosphere in the facility, enforcing and executing the Emergency Action Plan, and supervision and education of swimmers. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and general maintenance of the natatorium. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required. Mail Services Manager

 

York College of Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Mail Services Manager in the Office of Communications. The Mail Services Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management of the College’s Mail Services area.

Reporting to the Director of Print and Mail Services, the Mail Services Manager will oversee the daily operation of the Mail Center at Kings Mill Depot, as well as three postal centers located across campus. This will include supervising the work of approximately 20 student workers, as well as handling customer service responsibilities and providing administrative support to Mail Services.

Qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent; two to three years working in a mail operation; and one year of supervisory experience. Salary and benefits will be competitive.
