College Psychiatrist

 

College Psychiatrist position (part-time, 9 months, 4-5 hours/week), is available with York College Health Services. Employment to begin in late August 2014. Duties include providing psychiatric and medication evaluations and management for students seen at Health Services during the school year. Provide consultation with Health Services and Counseling Services staff to assist with clinical treatment. Consult with parents, physicians, faculty, staff/administrators, other community treatment providers, and students when appropriate.  Limited phone consultations between times in the office as needed for emergency consultation about clients seen. Requires a M.D. or D.O. with board certification in psychiatry. Experience working with a multidisciplinary treatment team, and the ability to treat students from diverse backgrounds within a college setting. Ability to work effectively in a collegiate setting with students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and be able to practice medicine in an ethical, professional manner and maintain Pennsylvania MD Licensure. Experience with Nuesoft Software is helpful.

Director of Development (YCDS)/Director of Stewardship (YCP)

 

The YCDS Director of Development/YCP Director of Stewardship will manage the fundraising operation at York Country Day School as well as direct specific stewardship activities at York College.  While an employee of York College of Pennsylvania, two-thirds of the Director’s time will be spent on site at YCDS coordinating the annual, capital and planned giving initiatives of the Day School.   The hire will work directly with the YCDS Head of School with support from the YCP Office of Advancement. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 3 years directly related experience. Excellent communication skills and willingness to work a flexible schedule. Resident Director

 

Part-time live in 10 month Staff, Resident Director position available immediately through May 31, 2015 (which may be a renewed appointment).  The position is responsible for managing all functions of a residential complex of approximately 250-800 students and supervising a staff of undergraduate Resident Assistants (5-10). The Resident Director coordinates complex programs, serves in an on-call rotation, student conduct hearing officer, conducts weekly staff and supervisory meetings, responds to emergencies, and serves as a liaison between the Residence Life Office, Campus Operations (including Campus Safety), the Student Affairs Office, and other administrative areas as needed. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in human service field, counseling, leadership studies or related field and 1-3 years experience within residence life.  Includes a partially furnished apartment and full meal plan when College is in session.
