Admissions Counselor

 

Full-time administrative position available September 1, 2014. The Admissions Counselor is a member of the admissions team primarily responsible for undergraduate student recruitment in a specific geographic territory.  Primary responsibilities include effective relationship management with prospective students, parents, and high schools.  This position requires extensive overnight travel to a specific area during certain times of the year.  Currently this includes Metro NY, Long Island and Connecticut, however, is subject to change. Additional responsibilities include conducting professional group information sessions for campus visitors, interviewing and counseling prospective students, and reading and reviewing applications. Some evening and weekends required.

Requires Bachelor’s degree.  Experience in college admissions, prospect management, or sales is also required. Must possess proven oral and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, customer relationship management applications; and strong organizational skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license. College Psychiatrist

 

College Psychiatrist position (part-time, 9 months, 4-5 hours/week), is available with York College Health Services. Employment to begin in late August 2014. Duties include providing psychiatric and medication evaluations and management for students seen at Health Services during the school year. Provide consultation with Health Services and Counseling Services staff to assist with clinical treatment. Consult with parents, physicians, faculty, staff/administrators, other community treatment providers, and students when appropriate.  Limited phone consultations between times in the office as needed for emergency consultation about clients seen. Requires a M.D. or D.O. with board certification in psychiatry. Experience working with a multidisciplinary treatment team, and the ability to treat students from diverse backgrounds within a college setting. Ability to work effectively in a collegiate setting with students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and be able to practice medicine in an ethical, professional manner and maintain Pennsylvania MD Licensure. Experience with Nuesoft Software is helpful.
