College Psychiatrist

 

College Psychiatrist position (part-time, 9 months, 4-5 hours/week), is available with York College Health Services. Employment to begin in late August 2014. Duties include providing psychiatric and medication evaluations and management for students seen at Health Services during the school year. Provide consultation with Health Services and Counseling Services staff to assist with clinical treatment. Consult with parents, physicians, faculty, staff/administrators, other community treatment providers, and students when appropriate.  Limited phone consultations between times in the office as needed for emergency consultation about clients seen. Requires a M.D. or D.O. with board certification in psychiatry. Experience working with a multidisciplinary treatment team, and the ability to treat students from diverse backgrounds within a college setting. Ability to work effectively in a collegiate setting with students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and be able to practice medicine in an ethical, professional manner and maintain Pennsylvania MD Licensure. Experience with Nuesoft Software is helpful.

Director of Facilities Services

 

The Director is a full-time administrative position, reporting directly to the Dean of Campus Operations, and is responsible for the overall operation of the facilities of the institution.  The position provides leadership; coordination between functional departments (maintenance, grounds and custodial); oversees the hiring, training, motivation and evaluation of personnel; develops, plans, implements and administers department goals and budgets; develops and recommends department policies and procedures; and exhibits excellent customer service in representing the College.   

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree related to Facilities Management, five years’ experience in facilities management, master’s degree in related field preferred, and some experience within higher education.  The ideal candidate will exhibit and possess outstanding organization, customer service, financial, communication, and technology skills.  The Director must demonstrate an understanding of the distinctive culture of an academic institution and be able to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, staff and the greater community.
