What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
Beginning in Fall 2013, students need to bring their York College ID to their appointments to be held as collateral while they update their information on an iPad. In the event a student forgets their York College ID, other forms/items may be asked for and retained as collateral, e.g. driver’s license or cell phone.
Counseling Services is switching to a new web content management system built for higher educational facilities.
What does this mean?
It means less paper! Forms will be electronic and students using the services of the Counseling Services will be using iPads to fill out forms and update records.
First appointments for each new semester will require students to complete all necessary forms using the iPads. Please be sure to arrive approximately 20-25 minutes before your appointment in order to update all necessary documents. Students are welcome to stop by any time during our regular office hours if they have some free time to update their records.
