Ronald L. Hershner is the managing partner of the law firm Stock and Leader LLC. He serves as the chair of the firm's Business and Employment Practice Group. Hershner has practiced law in York County for 30 years, concentrating in the areas of business and commercial transactions, business planning, real estate transactions and estate planning and administration. He maintains offices in York and Stewartstown, PA. He serves as legal counsel to a variety of York County businesses and industries. He has counseled companies and individuals in a wide array of transactions, including issues of formation, acquisition, financing, structuring, reorganization, liquidation and dissolution. He has lectured in county and state-wide seminars on topics of business entity selection, business and family planning, title insurance and real estate transactions.
Hershner has served as chair of the Board of Directors of the York County Heritage Trust and has completed a terms as president of the York County Estate Planning Council; president of the York County Chamber Economics Club and president of the Red Lion Area Historical Society. He is chair of the Professional Advisors Committee for the York County Community Foundation, a member of the Professional Advisors Committee for York College of Pennsylvania, director of the Rotary Club of York, a member of the Major Gifts Committee of the York Health Foundation and general counsel to the York County Economic Alliance.
Hershner graduated magna cum laude in history, and recevied a J.D. degree and an LLM in taxation from Dickinson School of Law. He has authored several books and articles on local history and regularly speaks to local groups on local history topics.
