Gerald Patnode has enjoyed a relationship with York College since 1999 when he joined the adjunct faculty, and a full time visiting faculty since 2003. Prior to joining York College, Patnode served 12 years as President and CEO of Applied Management Solutions LLC, an economic development and research company with a nation-wide client base. He was President of the Institute for Enterprise Development in Washington, DC. He has served on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University as a visiting assistant professor; at Loyola College in Maryland and Gettysburg College as assistant professor of Business and as dean of the School of Business at Baltimore International College.
Patnode was an on-air political analyst for WBAL-TV in Baltimore and the host of a weekly Maryland Public Television program on business and politics. He is the founder of several businesses including Unicom Corporation which was acquired by NCR, and Delta Publishing, which is now part of McMilliam Publishing. He served on the Federal Advisory Board for the Small Business Administration, Small Business Advisory Council to the U.S. Senate, and a number of other regional and local boards.
