Dale Carey is the CEO of Eco-Site, a Chapel Hill NC based company that builds, owns and operates urban micro-cells on blighted and brownfield real estate located throughout the US. Prior to joining Eco-Site he was a founding member, president and COO of Shared Access, a wireless tower and infrastructure operator in the UK and Ireland. Carey also served as the president, Wireless at SpectraSite Communications Inc. (NYSE:SSI) where he held full P&L responsibility for annual $365+ million revenue and $225 million EBITDA division. He held executive management accountability for the construction, operation and leasing of 8000 towers encompassing 24,000 tenants and 6500 unique landlords. Also at SpectraSite, Carey served as president of its start-up building division where he pioneered the In-building neutral host distributed antenna system (DAS) model. Carey spent 11 years at AT&T Wireless/Vanguard Cellular Systems (NASDAQ: VCELA) serving the last four years as the vice president and general manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Carey holds a BA from Temple University and an AS from York College. He serves as the executive chairman of Jazz Wireless Data.
