"I served in the U.S. Army for six years and spent two years in South Korea, working with the Korean Nationals to help maintain order along the North Korean border (DMZ). At York College, I was Vice President of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society (Alpha Phi Sigma), and graduated with honors (Cum Laude). My goal is to obtain a position in the investigations field or possibly become an officer of the law.

"York College not only helped me to use and process my Veteran Benefits, but also pushed me in the direction to excel in my field of interest. Administrators have implemented many programs to help guide veterans such as myself toward success. The staff is very helpful in addressing certain situations so that transitions are nothing but smooth sailing. Other programs help to congregate ex-soldiers together so that they can meet and create new relationships with fellow veterans.

"I think the College has come a long way with these various implementations to not only help improve transferring into the College, but also into the civilian world as well. I give my overwhelming thanks and gratitude to all of the staff members helping to make the College an academically successful environment and improving on the up and coming programs for veterans." — Isaiah Gebhart '14

Q: How did you get interested in motorcycle racing?

A: After riding on the street for about two years I had a friend convince me to try out racing. I wound up winning a regional championship my first year and then things just kind of snowballed from there. I never would have imagined in a million years that I would be where I am now with my racing "career."
