Joe Ehrmann Joe Ehrmann: A Game Plan for Life
Speaker for the Chloé Eichelberger
Business Education Series
September 25, 2013, 7 p.m.
Waldner Performing Arts Center

As an elite athlete, educator, motivator, coach and professional speaker for more than 30 years, Joe Ehrmann develops leaders to be their best - personally, professionally and relationally - in business, on the field, and in life. His revolutionary concepts of transformational leadership, coaching, team-building, and mentoring are the subject of his book: InSideOut Coaching: How Sports Can Transform Lives. According to Ehrmann, "Great coaching goes beyond X's and O's and focuses on the Y's. Why isn't your team more engaged and performing at its full capability? Why do you coach or lead the way you do? It's the Y's that get you to the deeper question of purpose, preparation and planning to win in business, on the field, and in life." Ehrmann played professional football for 13 years. He was named the Baltimore Colts' "Man of the Year," the NFL's first Ed Block Courage Award winner and Parade Magazine’s "The Most Important Coach in America" because of his work to transform the culture of sports. Ehrmann’s organization, Coach for America, was established "to inform, inspire and initiate individual, communal and societal change that will empower men and women to be their very best – personally, professionally and relationally."

Ehrmann will also present a breakfast workshop on transformational leadership from 8 to 11 a.m., Oct. 31, in the Willman Business Center’s Yorkview Hall. Registration is required by Oct. 20 for this event at Space is limited.
