In keeping with our mission of offering a broad range of visual experiences, the 2013-2014 exhibition series features the work of artists with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience dealing with a variety of form and content. Among the artists showing are Carol Prusa, named as an "Artist to Watch" by Art Economist Magazine, installation artist Andi Steele, and printmaker Gus Mazzocca, whose exhibition celebrates four decades of work. The multi-faceted Wayne White, our 2014 Artist-in-Residence, will be exhibiting paintings on campus and a large-scale installation downtown at Marketview Arts. There will also be several student exhibitions, artist lectures and special events, including a printmaking demonstration, lecture and exhibition by Drive By Press, and lectures by Nolen Strals and Bruce Willen of the Baltimore design studio Post Typography, and painter/photographer Diane Burko.
The Cora Miller Gallery and the Brossman Gallery, our primary exhibition venues, are located in the Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall. Some events will also take place in the York College Studios at Marketview Arts, part of the Downtown York Arts District. All events are free and open to the public.
