Self-Defense

Self-defense is the act of defending oneself, one’s property or the well-being of another from physical harm. This course will use a combination of martial arts styles and techniques, and customized self-defense training to suit the participants' lifestyles, occupations, age groups and gender.

Participants completing the class instruction should:

  • feel more aware of their circumstances
  • more confident of their own ability to defend themselves
  • not be limited by the fear of being attacked
