This eighty hour program is designed to prepare the student for an entry level position of employment in the field of medical coding and billing. Persons interested in becoming medical coders or pursuing national certification should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
March 17 - May 21
6 - 9:30 p.m.
(two Saturdays: April 5 & May 10 – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Persons successfully completing the course will qualify for positions in physicians’ practices, hospitals, pharmacies, long term living facilities, chiropractic practices, and other health care providers who depend upon medical billing and coding for insurance carrier reimbursement.
