FOCUS

FOCUS is a computerized system designed to help students with career and educational planning. The FOCUS system allows users to learn about career options related to their interests, personality, skills, and values. Users of FOCUS learn how to make realistic decisions about their goals and plans, ways to self-manage their careers and the importance of adaptability in these times of change. The O-NET serves as the nation's primary source of occupational information, providing comprehensive information on key attributes and characteristics of workers and occupations.

YCP's Annual Fall Majors Fair

The Majors Fair is a fantastic event that allows students an opportunity to meet and interact with faculty members who teach in a variety of academic majors and minors here at the college. In the past, Career Development has received extremely positive feedback from students who attended the event and felt that it helped them to gain valuable information and insight in a convenient setting. The goal of the Majors Fair is to assist attendees to make informed decisions in selecting their programs of study. Join us Fall 2012.
