Dolheimer Named Assistant Dean for Institutional Advancement

YORK, Pa. - Mary Dolheimer of Abbottstown has been named assistant dean for institutional advancement at York College of Pennsylvania. As such, she will manage the Office of Communications, which is responsible for media relations and publications. Dolheimer will also oversee the College's current branding effort, with assistance from George Dehne and Associates Integrated Services.
Dolheimer comes to York from Elizabethtown College, where she spent the past five years serving as director of media relations and marketing in the Office of Admissions. She previously worked for 13 years at Gettysburg College, serving in a number of positions within the Office of Communications and Public Relations.
"Mary comes to us with both an excellent background in higher education marketing and also a keen awareness of the unique aspects of our region. We're excited about Mary joining us at York College," said Dan Helwig, Dean of College Advancement.
Dolheimer also serves as vice president of the Spring Grove Area School District Board of Directors, as chair of the Spring Grove Educational Fund and as a member of the Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 Board of Directors.
