York College Receives $50,000 Grant To Support YCCOSP

YORK, Pa. - York College recently received a $50,000 grant provided by the Helen D. Groome Beatty Trust, a Mellon Mid-Atlantic Charitable Trust. As trustees of the Mellon Mid-Atlantic Charitable Trusts, BNY Mellon Wealth Management is committed to distributing these funds in the most useful and meaningful way.
This contribution supports the York College Community Opportunity Scholarship Program's (YCCOSP) Jump Start Academic Enrichment Program, along with year-round extracurricular programs. YCCOSP provides a select group of William Penn Senior High School students with the skills and opportunity to attend York College by means of a full four-year scholarship. Currently twenty-three William Penn graduates are attending York College as members of YCCOSP.
