Ten Thousand Villages Festival Sale at York College

YORK, Pa. - York College's Multicultural Affairs Office will host a Ten Thousand Villages Festival Sale, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the William Walker Room in Iosue Student Union.

The event supports the efforts of artisans around the world by selling their handcrafted gifts and home décor, as well as offers a unique opportunity for people in the York community to invest in their world by shopping fair trade. Shoppers will also learn more about skilled artisans in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

"The sale is a wonderful educational tool for students, faculty, staff and the York community to learn about fair trade and various cultures," said Yvette T. McDonnell, Director of Multicultural Affairs.
