FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

YORK, Pa. - Clemson University professor Dr. Constancio Nakuma will address foreign language education in an age of globalization, March 6, at 7 p.m. in Wolf Recital Hall on the campus of York College.

In his lecture titled "The Foreign Language Imperative in an Age of Globalization: Why Knowing Other Languages Matters," Nakuma hopes to persuade his audience that embracing linguistic pluralism (or the existence of many languages) and striving to know more than one language is the most efficient path to increasing opportunities for a fulfilling career, enhancing communication between people and achieving world peace.
