New Executive-In-Residence at York College

YORK, Pa. - York College recently named Mike Atkins of Red Lion executive-in-residence.
Atkins' responsibilities include advising students and faculty on business issues with emphasis on entrepreneurship, as well as networking with local businesses to foster cooperative projects.
In addition to consulting, Atkins teaches leadership and entrepreneurship courses at York College. He is currently the vice chairman of York SCORE, a member of the board at York Art Association and a Junior Achievement volunteer.
Atkins is also a former partner and president of Shenango Advanced Ceramics, LLC. He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering and from York College with a Master of Business Administration degree.
