YCP Launches Women's Business Center

YORK, Pa. - The J. D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship at York College recently conducted a focus group of successful York women entrepreneurs to launch their Women's Business Center.

The goal of the focus group was to guide the center in its mission of providing services to women entrepreneurs and women who want to grow their businesses.

The following women participated in the focus group, which was led by Michael March, executive director of the J. D. Brown Center, and Lynda Randall, program director for the J. D. Brown Center: Cindy Rowe, founder of Cindy Rowe's Auto Glass; Patricia Cumer, founder of First Capital Insulation; Ann Gdovin, founder of Gdovin Personnel; Kim Walsh, founder of Inside Outside Consulting; Jackie Hartlove-Fronczek, founder of Infinite Solutions with Marketing, LLC; and Connie Sprenkle, who started a Merry Maids Franchise in York.

The J. D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship at York College was established in July 2006 and offers a B.S. Degree and a Focused Group of Studies in Entrepreneurship.
