York College to Host Second Annual York Entrepreneurship Symposium

YORK, Pa. - York College of Pennsylvania will host the Second Annual York Entrepreneurship Symposium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 3 in Iosue Student Union on the YCP campus.
The Symposium will be held in conjunction with York Regional Entrepreneurship Week, October 29 - November 2, 2007. The event will include workshops, small group discussion and consultation with business faculty and professionals. Morning workshop topics include Starting a Part-Time Business, Show Me The Money, and The Urban Entrepreneur. Afternoon workshops include Entrepreneurship as a 2nd Career, Growing Your Existing Business, and Women Entrepreneurs: Opportunities & Challenges. Participants may choose one workshop to attend in each session. Advance registration is required. The $20 fee includes refreshments and lunch.
Special workshops for high school and college students interested in entrepreneurship will include How to be an Entrepreneur in 10 Days and Financial Literacy Skills. These sessions will be led by the Students in Free Enterprise organization at YCP. Students must register but will attend at no charge as guests of York College.
