The One Show: 2006 Best of Advertising

YORK, Pa. – For more than 30 years, The One Show, has been setting the industry standard for creative excellence.
The premiere international advertising award show will open, Wednesday, Sept. 6 at York College of Pennsylvania Galleries in the Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall. Opening reception is from 7 – 9 p.m. and the exhibit will run thru Sept. 17.
Categories include print, television, radio, outdoor, innovative media and marketing, and more recently, integrated branding.
Each year an international jury of award-winning art directors judge a wide variety of work, entered by a wide variety of places, from multinational advertising giants to small regional shops.

Award-Winning Commercials
YORK, Pa. – A broadcast reel of award-winning commercials will be presented Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at York College of Pennsylvania in the Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall, Recital Hall.
Mary Warlick, executive director of The One Club in New York City, will present the broadcast reel of commercials with commentary. Warlick lectures to advertising clubs throughout the U.S., curates advertising exhibitions and has published on the history of advertising, including Advertising’s Best of the Eighties.
The lecture, exhibition and reception, are cosponsored by the Ad Club of Central Pennsylvania and the York College Division of Art.
