YORK COLLEGE PRESENTS A SPRING CHORAL CONCERT

YORK, Pa. - The York College Music Division will present a Spring Choral Concert, Sunday, April 9, at 3 and 5 p.m., in the MAC Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
The College Chorale and the Chamber Singers will present a program of songs from around the world titled “Carmina Mundi.” Through a variety of languages and instrumental accompaniments, the choirs will present exotic pieces from Africa, Asia and Latin America. The singers will also explore the musical tradition of Ireland, Scotland and the Caribbean Islands.
The Chorale, an ensemble of 90 singers, and the Chamber Singers, composed of 16-20 students, are directed by Dr. Grace Muzzo. For more information contact Muzzo at 815-6450.
