YORK COLLEGE OFFERING NEW SCHOLARSHIP EXCLUSIVELY TO COUNTY RESIDENTS

York College has established a new scholarship, the York County Community Grant, to be available for the fall 2006 semester.

The Grant is a $2,000 scholarship to be divided over the student’s first four semesters at York College (excluding summers), and is available to all qualified York County residents.

“York College is committed to York County’s future progress,” said York College President, Dr. George W. Waldner. “This scholarship program is one more way to show our support.”

Certain eligibility requirements must be met to receive the award, and the recipient must maintain a 2.0 grade point average in order to continue eligibility.
