FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

YORK, Pa. – Two students from York College of Pennsylvania have been named the latest recipients of the “Bill Goodling Teacher Scholarship Fund.” In order to receive the scholarship, students must express an interest in becoming a teacher.

The two York College students are: Lukas Jones, of Glen Rock, and Zachary Snyder, of Wrightsville. Gettysburg College student Barrett Reynolds, of York, also received the scholarship.

Jones and Reynolds joined former Congressman Goodling, York College President George Waldner, and Attorney John D. Briggs, of Katherman, Briggs & Greenberg, at a brief presentation ceremony at YCP. Katherman, Briggs & Greenberg is a major sponsor of the scholarship’s annual golf tournament and largest fundraiser.

Snyder was unable to attend the presentation due to out-of-state student teaching.
