York College of Pennsylvania special course offerings

The York College of Pennsylvania Special Programs Office will offer the following upcoming courses to members of the public interested in updating their work skills, satisfying Act 48 requirements or adding to their knowledge.
Practical and Tactical Handcuffing
This course will cover the proper method of searching and restraining both compliant and resistant individuals. Certification will be awarded through Personal Protection Consultants International upon successful completion of the course. Participants must be criminal justice majors or employed as police, security or corrections officers. The course will be held August 6. A Practical and Tactical Handcuffing Instructor course will be held on August 7.
Financial Strategies Seminar
Want to be able to properly plan your financial future? Learn about the art of investing and the vehicles that help you accomplish your financial goals. This seminar will identify various investment mediums, cover the value of compounding interest, help with diversification, as well as reduce taxes and control healthcare costs.
