Spartans take to the road for Sweet 16

The York College men's basketball team takes to the road for this weekend's NCAA Division III sectional tournament. The round of 16 features four campus locations with four teams each. The Spartans travel to Ramapo College in Mahwah, N.J., on Friday where they will face Worcester Polytech in the first game at 6:00 p.m.
The host Roadrunners then host Kings College in the 8:00 p.m. contest. The two winners meet Saturday evening in the sectional championship for the right to advance to the Final Four in Salem, Va.
Limited tickets for Friday night's game are available for purchase by York College students, staff and faculty beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 8. Tickets are $4 for students, children, and senior citizens, and $5 for adults. Tickets for Saturday's game will become available late Friday night.
A 48-passenger fan bus will depart Friday afternoon for Ramapo College at a cost of $5 for York College students and $10 for non-York College students.
