Special Programs announces upcoming courses

The Special Programs Office at York College offers practical courses for members of the community interested in enhancing their knowledge in a variety of topics. Check out the interesting and exciting courses available this spring!
Spanish Conversation and Culture
If you're going on a trip, want to converse with fellow employees, or simply want to learn new things, this non-credit course presents basic Spanish language and culture geared toward individuals who want to learn the language or refresh their present knowledge. The course begins Tuesday, March 1.
Storytelling
Whether its through folklore, myth, legend, family history, or persuasion, everyone has the opportunity to express themselves. Learn the ways to master this timeless method of communication by attending this four-week course scheduled to begin Thursday, March 10.
Forensic Science for all ages
Forensic science, a blend of science and criminal testimony, uses science to help explain the evidence in criminal cases. Ever wonder how evidence is collected and a crime scene clarified? Learn about the history of forensic science, real CSI procedures versus television, anthropology, mock crime scene investigation, fingerprinting, handwriting analysis, crime scene processing, and blood pattern interpretation. The course is scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 22.
