MTV'S REAL WORLD CARA COMING TO YCP
Posted February 12, 2004FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
York, Pennsylvania -- She made a name for herself on MTV's "Real World" show, but Cara Nausbaum has had many other real life experiences, some good, some bad. She'll be sharing her experiences during a speech on February 25 at York College of Pennsylvania.
Cara's visit coincides with Eating Disorder Awareness Week. The young woman struggled with an eating disorder as a teenager and has had to deal with the issue of body image during her TV career. Cara grew up in the suburbs of Boston and says she developed her creative talents and individual style while enrolled at Washington University in St. Louis.
Her lecture, which is part of YES (York Entertainment Series), is scheduled for February 25 at 8 p.m. in the MAC Recital Hall. The speech is free and open to the public. For more information, please call the York College Public Relations Office at (717) 815-1309.
