Posted February 9, 2004FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
York, Pennsylvania -- America's "Entertainer of the Year" for 2003 (as named by an industry magazine) will appear at York College of Pennsylvania on February 23. Magician-illusionist Mike Super is described as talented and versatile, with a natural ability to fascinate people. He's a member of both the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians.
Super has redefined the ordinary magic show. He has pioneered a new form of trickery with his own inimitable style and personality. "I want the audience to experience something with a personal meaning, " Mike says. In addition to being named "Entertainer of the Year," Mike was also named the "Best Novelty Act" of 2003 and the "Best Male Performer" of the year. He has entertained tens of thousands, including celebrities such as Regis Philbin, Joan Rivers, and Paul Reiser.
He'll be on campus February 23 at 7:30 p.m., in DeMeester Theater, as part of the College's Cultural Series. His performance is free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis.
