York College Enhances Alcohol Awareness Programs

York, Pennsylvania--York College of Pennsylvania has implemented a number of programs and policies over the years in its pursuit to educate students on alcohol awareness. In its effort to provide educational and informative awareness strategies, YCP has invited Andrew Hill to speak to students. Hill, employed by The Education Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention, will make a presentation about alcohol and drug abuse, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. on campus.
"Alcoholiday," the title of Hills presentation, is an autobiographical, dealing with the alcohol and drug issues confronting today's students.
Hill was invited to campus by The Life Enhancement and Development Program, also known as the LEAD Team. This is a group of students, faculty and administrators dedicated to reducing the harm associated with alcohol and other illegal substances. The purpose is to create a campus environment supportive of safe, healthy and legal behavior.
