1999 York College AIDS Walk

"One Step at at Time"
York, Pennsylvania--The 1999 AIDS Walk will take place on Sunday, April 18, 1999 at 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by the York College Student Senate and William Penn High School. The walk will consist of 3 miles, beginning at the York College Fountain and ending at the Garden of Serenity and Hope on Albermarle Street. The theme of this year's Walk is, "One Step at a Time."
The walk will benefit O.P.E.N. (Ordinary People with Extraordinary Needs) of York County and the Susquehanna Chapter of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. Everyone raising $20 or more will receive a free "AIDS Walk" T-shirt.
Registration begins on Thursday, March 18, 1999 and ends at 1:30 p.m. on the day of the walk, Sunday, April 18, 1999. Check-In for those registered is from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in the York College Student Union Lobby.
