York College Hosts Special Olympics 1999 Spring Games

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

York, Pennsylvania--York College of Pennsylvania will host the Special Olympics of York County 1999 Spring Games. The games take place on Saturday, May 8, 1999, from 9:00 a.m. until approx. 3:00 p.m. Registration for all Athletes and Volunteers are from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m.

The games will feature Track & Field and Aquatics events. All athletes must have a valid medical form on file with the Special Olympics of York County in order to participate in the games.

The Special Olympics is looking for volunteer/buddies/huggers for the games. No experience is necessary for this experience of a lifetime.

The games will take place Rain or Shine.
