Winter Commencement

York, Pennsylvania -- More than 300 York College students received their diplomas on Wednesday, December 17 during the Winter Commencement ceremony. Christine Todd Whitman, former EPA Director and former Governor of New Jersey, urged the grads to continue learning beyond college. She also called on them to help out in their communities.

Faculty speaker, Dr. John Altman, got everyone's attention when he shouted, "Once more unto the breech!" That's a quote from Shakespeare's "Henry V," which was used to inspire and build courage in the army.
