FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

York, Pennsylvania--York College of Pennsylvania is now offering more than 350 professional and technical courses over the Internet on topics ranging from negotiating skills to time management to the latest in computer software.

The courses, which are fully administered online, are non-credited and have been designed for persons with limited computer experience. Subjects are taught using a variety of tutorials, and the courses include an optional pre and post test. Users receive a certificate upon successful completion of a course.

The course offerings are divided into two sections, “end user/professional development,” which teaches interpersonal, math, and computer skills, and “technical,” which teaches computer programming, networking, and HTML software. The price for either series is $150 per year, and the programs can be accessed at any time.

Many of the technical courses are approved as Microsoft Certified Professional Study Guides and prepare users for examinations such as the Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE). Computer courses are continuously updated to reflect new software packages.
