Investment Seminar to be Held at York College

York, Pennsylvania--York College is offering a two-part seminar in November titled “Investments 101.” The course will teach investment fundamentals that will be helpful to both beginning investors and seasoned pros.

The workshops will be held Nov. 8 and Nov. 15 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the John Hancock Room of Manor Northeast.

Financial planning experts will teach participants how to select investments that match certain objectives, make money grow tax free, and steer clear of common investment mistakes. Lessons will clearly explain the advantages and disadvantages of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and annuities.

The seminar costs $29 per couple or individual. A workbook that reinforces investment fundamentals and a free individual consultation option are also included. The registration deadline is Nov. 3.
